Friendship Collage

Friendship has been a large importance in my life. They have been through a lot with me through the year. It is suppose to be playful and fun like joking and laughing. All the friends have importance in my life. I wanted to say how much I care about them; words aren't good enough to describe my thanks to them. My focus point is the guys just goofing around without a care in the world. I wanted to have has many friends as I could but I think it got little cluttered.

Movie Poster

My movie poster is about a romance between to teenage kids. The guy has all the people around him because he is the jock, popular guy. The girl is alone in the library because she would rather spend her time reading instead of socializing. The book is suppose the a yearbook with the handwritten NERD! on the girl's side and the hearts on the guy's side. The guy and girl are off the pictures and have color against the black and white background so that they stand out. Also the background in is pink because pink is considered the color of love and romance. The guy is facing the girl because he is trying to get her attention but she is too busy reading her book. I wanted to make in a book also because they have the love that you only read about in books.

Surrealism-Creation

I began with the shape f the egg beacuse the egg represents birth and creation. I create the sky into a picture of jellyfishes- blending of land and sea and sky together. The tree has a ghost like quality to it. The tree is still be created into the 'world'. The zebra is also to include more the land aspect of the picture. The zebra is resting under a tree like people would normally see in life. The hands are coming out of the egg, because the 'creation' is trying to come out of the egg.

Surrealism Photo

The image shows how the water falls from the sky and creates the ocean. I was going to use the object falling form teh sky like they were 'thrown ' down onto the Earth. The combination of the water and land in the image. am trying to combine both the elements.

Photo Letters Verison 2

I made the theme more childish design. I added the bright colors in the background to represent a child kinda drawing on a sheet of paper. I also added the 'text' heart to also give the youthful appearance. I made the letters a little more errie than the rest of the design. The scary about childhood is represented by the dark letters-like being scared of the monsters under the bed. As a child I had terrible dream because I watched to many detective and crime shows. For me personally, the bright colors are to show that it seems everything is funny and happy but there is the dark side that no one really realizes.

Letter Name

I used different images for nature to spell my name 'Jamie'. Three of the images are from a tree- the branch and trunk of the tree. I didn't want to make any letters but I had a hard time finding a M in nature. I prefer nature and outdoors activities instead of staying inside. I love to rock climb, swim, and bike. I was going for a happy spring or summer time day. I also took all the photos during the day so all the picture were a little bright so I toned down the warmth. Also I created some blur in the background to focus on the letters of the my name. I hope it is readable. I think this is a successful design because has a theme to tie it together and they are all warm colors.

Wisconsin State Park Sticker

This sticker is to have the view of going through a cave to the lake.

I used only blues hues and black. I only used these colors because Wisconsin is not known for its bright, vivid colors; Wisconsin is more known for nature like colors like green and blue. I choose to make the kayak just a solid black silhouette to keep it simple. The text flows around the outside of the sticker. Also the texts are a blueish hue to make it stand out against the black background. The 4 colors really help unify the sticker.

Five Star Run

This is my design the Brookfield Academy Five Star Run. I also added the 50th anniversary on the back since it is important. I used the footprint on the T-shirt because I didn't want the tradition person running or tennis shoe. The footprint is similar to the running. I blended the yellow and blue together to create harmony in the background along with the school colors. Also the front in the oval to create a different shape into the shirt instead of the tradition rectangle.

50th Anniversary

This is the design for the 50th anniversary. I was only using the blue and gold theme colors of Brookfield Academy. The gradient in the background is symbolizing go forward into the future. I was trying to connect the background with the saying for the 50th anniversary- "50 and Forging Forward". The stars were also incorporated into the design because of the five stars are important to Brookfield Academy. I outlined the letters in white to help them stand out against the background. The text is more left aligned but the saying is centered aligned. I hope this design is successful, because this my favorite!
